SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026
Visited SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 (Sustainable High City Tech) at Tokyo Big Sight for PixeVision, meeting vendors and startups from around the world as part of our push into Japan.
Why I went
PixeVision attended SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, one of Japan’s large technology and innovation expos, to learn the ecosystem and make connections in Japanese manufacturing and AI. It was part of the same push into Japan as our partnership with Three-Up Technology.

What I saw
I met many vendors and startups from around the world and saw what they are bringing to market, including:
- augmented reality
- vision systems
- new safety feedback systems
- digital twins
AI-powered cherry sorting at the University of Yamanashi booth: a vision system grading cherries by size and quality.
Japanese-made AI robots at the Highlanders booth.
